Gourd Candles
Gourds are cool- You can carve them, paint them, burn designs into them. You can turn them into bird houses, bowls, vases, or even candles. That’s what we’ll be doing in this workshop. We’ll be taking the smaller sized gourds and burning designs into them, cutting some holes, add a few embellishments, and painting accents on them.

Lamp Making
In this fun and creative workshop we’ll be taking average things that you might have around the house or find at the thirft store and turn them into designer lamps. Or taking an old lamp and changing it to be something special by adding found objects and accents. We’ll supply everything that you need to make a lamp to be proud of. Or you can bring something special

Clock Making
We’re bringing in the new year right by making clocks from old objects like old LP’s and License Plates or anything else that you might want to make a clock out of and we can drill a hole into. So lets get creative and have some fun! I’ll have everything needed for this project. So all you need to do is be able to use a glue gun!

Bisque Ornaments
Pam Hoge is going to show us how to paint and decorate prefired bisque ornaments. Just in time for Christmas! Make something for yourself or a special gift for a friend, or both, since we’ll have supplies for you to make two projects.

Sun Printing
In this workshop we will be painting light sensitive dye onto wet fabric then placing objects, such as leaves and images cut out of paper over the wet dye, then exposing it to sun light or infrared light. We’ll be using placemats or tote books to create works of art! No previous experience is necessary. All you need to do is be able to put water and paint on a brush and slop it on a peice of cloth!

Batik Tote Bag
Explore the ancient craft of the ages, using the tools and techniques of today. It’s easier than you think to create beautiful fabric dyed objects with melted wax. In this workshop, we will be covering a variety of techniques to produce unique cotton tote bags that require no experience or even talent! All you need to do is show up, we’ll show you the rest.
